Cloud Gallery will officially open an exhibition, titled “Temporal Recode: Lu Shao Yi Solo Exhibition” running from August 21 to September 21,2025. This exhibition showcases the latest works by Macau contemporary artist Lu Shao Yi, focusing on her exploration of cultural identity and her rethinking of traditional ink painting. Art lovers are invited to appreciate her unique artistic language and profound cultural reflections, featuring 20 pieces (or sets) of her artwork.

Lu Shao Yi works blend traditional ink painting techniques with contemporary media, exploring the relationship between identity and cultural memory. She emphasizes that creation is not merely the reproduction of style but a profound observation and reflection on life.

Themed ”Archives of Time,“ this exhibition considers history, memory, and culture as reconstructible archives, using ”recoding“ to symbolize the artist‘s contemporary interpretation of these fragments. The exhibits utilize extensive grid-like shapes, visualizing traditional cultural symbols and evoking emotional recollections.
